HAE is an extremely rare genetic disorder, and since launch, the Facebook page and application have reached over 500 users.  Over 50 family trees have been created using a graphical game-like interface. The tree continues to evolve over time, signifying additional activities and connections. Within the application, over 40 personal requests have been sent out to Facebook members to join a family member’s tree in order to learn more about the condition.
